‘Time runs really fast, it is already half of 2016 and July is my birthday month’ said Lam Pei. She can’t really refresh the memories of the past Mid-summer or these might have been stolen from someone? Mid summer in Chinese also seems like the ‘Left-over’ of the mid-summer. She would like to refresh her past left-over memories through out her paintings in this exhibition.
How to go?
Easiest way is to take the MTR to the Sheung Wan Exit A2 and you can either choose to walk through the stairs in ladder street or you can take Taxi directly to there. It is just a few blocks on Hollywood Road.

The exhibition was held in a cosy art & bar called BOOM. There’s a signage in the exterior so that’s quite easy to find. Lot’s of Lam Pei’s New and Past paintings were nicely exhibited on the wall. She used pastel oil color for most of her latest paintings to bring out the refreshment of the mid-summer. Each painting represent her childhood memories.
There’re lots of yummy fruit tarts during the ceremony

Lam Pei also collaborate with the Handcraft Beer from Japan. Boom do offers this during the exhibition.
While Lai Pei was giving an opening speech of the exhibition, she mentioned that it wasn’t the perfect speech as she didn’t get a well preparation of these busiest days with lots of projects going on a the same time. However I don’t think that’s not perfect as imperfection do makes perfect! Isn’t it?

The exhibition also include few of her past paintings. If you wish to get more information of Lam Pei, she do have a Facebook as below. Also her studio do sell different products of Soyfe. However please do give her a message before you go.
