If you have ever did some research in web, you will find there are quite lots of Tea House in Chiang Mai. Continue my post in our Day 4 Trip yeterday, after visiting the zoo and Wat Pha Lat (will post this later). We took Songthaew (like Taxi but a Van) to Central Festival Mall. Actually the main store of Vieng Joom On isn’t in Central Mall. As my hubby wish to walk around the mall, then we just pop into Vieng Joom On as we haven’t plan to.
At first sight I thought they were selling tea only and not so much food but obviously I was wrong, they sell not only Tea bags, leaves and gift but also you can even enjoy your Tea time with this lovely, gorgeous pink national color of India environment. It almost seems like you went into the Palace of India. So let me bring you to have a look of the interior.
The Interior
Once you get in, my eyes were fully attracted in their wall that full of huge tea Jars. I totally fall in love with the royal pink mixed with the victoria green and all the rose gold decoration. Actually I have went through their site as mentioned ‘Vieng’ means city and ‘Joom on’ means pink, thus that’s makes everything looks PINK in some reason. They started with the impression of the Pink city in India and Pink also represent love.
Gifts / Souvernirs
Vieng Joom On has up to 50 kinds of premium tea selected from all around the world. With tons on boxes in the shelf and also at the gift corner, it was so hard for me to picked my flavor by reading the name of the TEA in each of the boxes. As it names like ‘Madame Butterfly” I guess I can’t imagine how it taste but there’s a little bottle which allows you to smell (not really taste) but get a sense of how it might taste like. They are doing a promotion at that moment, so do asked the sales which have the buy 1 get 1 free or any seasonal promotions which you might missed! If you want to buy something which is more good looking and precious gift, they do offer a Tea Gift Box set with various Tea and accessories included.

This is the gorgeous Little Pink tea set gift definitely an ideal gift for your friends, It cost only Baht 225 and there’s promotion at that moment

It’s TEA time! What we ordered?
There aren’t many tables, we chose to seat at the side. The cushions on sofa were full of indian feel. We ordered the Banana Fillo and Hot Tea as a Combo Set in the menu and an extra ice Chocolate. The presentation was so good and of course the dessert was so yummy! Not so sweet but fresh. I forgot the name of the tea that we ordered but as I remembered it was some kind of Rose tea. It is not pricey and the tea is a great combination mixed with sweets. I love their Pink little bag for the taleware! Overall we spent only Bhat 380 (Less than $100 HK) in such a beautiful place! It is more worth than what we spent. So that’s one of the Tea House that I would highly recommend!
A well brewed tea is
a tea brewed with heart
