24 hours FRESH BAGELS in TAIWAN – N.Y Bagels Review

Following my Taiwan trip last year, would like to recommend another great spot which offers 24 hours various selective bagels. I went there because it is just located at the back of my hotel. Situated in Zhongxiao district, a very convenient place where there are shopping malls, restaurants around. It opens 24 hours daily, if you have a late arrival would be great to enjoy an earlier breakfast in N.Y Bagel Cafe. It is a western style bagel cafe with big portions and refill service for coffee. Besides free Wifi is also available.

Interior

It wasn’t a spectacular cafe (like my previous post of Good Institue) but they do have a cozy atmosphere inside. You can either sit close to the window or bar tables. Also I love how they have options to sit in a private semicircle corner.

The Food

When I was there, I enjoyed my early breakfast before get to work. They do offered quite various selection of breakfast. Not only various selection of bagels but also salad, burger , pasta and soup etc. Besides, they do also have kids set, classic brunch.

It is great they do also provide refill service for coffee, however I’m not sure if this applies to all coffee as I haven’t experience but read from other reviews. Not only coffee but also provides great fruit tea! So if you are not a coffee lover, you still can enjoy their tea selections.Seems like it is good as well!

We ordered the Classic brunch set which include bacon with fried potatoes, fried eggs and choice of bagels. It also comes with seasonal fruit. Besides you also have choices of cream cheese for bagels. The quality is quite good but it’s a bit pricey. It cost us around 300 TWD per person. However the portion is big enough for me and the coffee as well! so compare to the price I think it’s seems fine.

One thing I may say the staff can’t speak well English so it might take some time to order if you have some special request. However everything is very good. So if you are looking for a place where serving 24 hours with wifi and great coffee plus early breakfast, then you indefinitely need to mark this down!
