Popular Instagram Restaurant – The Ivy Chelsea Garden

This is the 4th post of London and I would like to share this famous IG restaurant – The Ivy Chelsea Garden to you. If you are an IG user, this place might looks familiar to you because of the famous exterior decoration of the restaurant.

The full wall panel along the exterior of the restaurant used to change with seasonal decoration. Last month – December 2017, it was full of metallic Christmas ornaments. People who passed by can’t control not to take a shot and upload immediately to social media. Of course, I also took one before I went in for breakfast! 😉

I went there for breakfast and made a reservation in advance through their website. It’s true that even breakfast, the restaurant were full of people. Hence, if you are planning to go, you definitely need to make a reservation!

The interior looks classic, decorated with vintage sofas and images on the wall. At the back of the restaurant, you can also choose to sit next to the full panel of window. However we were asked to sit close to the centre since we didn’t ask for any preference. I would probably ask to sit in this area as I love to have sunlight while I enjoy my breakfast.

There are variety of breakfast choices in the menu. I chose the Full English Breakfast which served with the smoked streaky bacon, Cumberland herbed sausage, fried hen’s eggs, black pudding, roast plum tomatoes, grilled at mushroom and baked beans and a choice of Toast. Also it served with a welcome drink – Champaign first and followed with my order of coffee – latte as well. If you love to have a light breakfast, there are also a few choices from the menu.

Though it is a bit costly however it’s all worth with such an amazing environment. If you tend to come later, there are also brunch start at 11:00. For more details please refer to the below! Lastly remember to make a reservation through the below website instead of walk in!
