The A-4 Grade juicy steak in Ishigaki – Okinawa

Backdate from my last summer, it was my first time travelled to Ishigaki. If you have no idea where it is, it is one of the 8 main islands in the south of Okinawa. Surrounded by crystal clear turquoise color of water. In my next passage, I will introduce another island. Though not yet landed, the view from the plan was absolutely breath-taking! I was so excited to my first visit in this little Island.

A bit introduction of what Must Go / Must See in this little island, apart from the amazing beach and sunshine, one of a MUST EAT is the Ishigaki beef! So today, I would like to recommend one of the best restaurant I had tried last summer – SHIMA FrenchBar Sasaki Masaru (島フレンチバル佐々木勝) The name was a bit long!

We didn’t plan have dinner here but passed by and not even expect to be that good! Since the exterior looks a bit too modern and western. I would imagine the restaurant with great Ishigaki beef would looks more like a traditional Japanese restaurant. The interior is quite cozy with a few sofas with cushions and a few seats facing the window as well! The interior also decorated with a Cow drawing showing different parts of the meat. We ordered a set from the menu unfortunately I forgot to take a picture of it!! However, I found a menu from google showing the non-set order, the price are from 480-1680 YEN.

Our set includes starter with fresh fruits, salad, curry rice and of course Ishigaki Steak! The meat was so juicy and tender. No doubt because there’s a certificate on the shelf mentioned that is a A-4 Grade beef!

Besides, they have more than 100 choices of beer so if you would like to chill with friends, it is also a nice place to stay at night! The location is easy to find and you can park your car somewhere next to the street and walk in.
