Luxurious Afternoon Tea in Bangkok – Grand Hyatt Erawan

Heya! How’s everyone’s weekend? I was back from Bangkok last week and I was lucky enough to spend such a luxurious afternoon tea in Luxurious Afternoon Tea in Bangkok (Grand Hyatt Erawan)sponsored by Trazy

A bit introduction of Trazy. Trazy is an travel agency unlike normal but focus mainly on Korea and Thailand. I have been travelling to Bangkok since 8 years ago and usually visited at least twice a year! Sometime even 4 times a year! lol haha~  I really love Bangkok not only because of the conveniency from Hong Kong, but also many activities and food were affordable with best quality! which I am sure I could not find in my place.

If you asked me what was my ‘MUST DO’ List ? I would definitely say SPA and Afternoon tea! This time, I spent my Luxurious Afternoon Tea in Bangkok (Grand Hyatt Erawan) . The location was  super convenient!! It is just right beside Erawan Shrine. I know you might think that would definitely be super expensive! No… Though it was recommended by Michelin Plates!! BUT!! Can you imagine it cost ONLY 600THB / head only and you could spent your afternoon tea in a 5 START Hotel!! ! LoL  Unbelievable!!! Also, this is a THAI afternoon unlike the others! ~ Something you can show off to your friends haha

The ambience was cozy and a couple of half semicircle sofa are available to seat. The waitress can speak fluent English and describe clearly what are in the menu. They offered 3 main types of drinks which include Erawan Classic，Coffee and Ewran Selection. For those who don’t love ice tea, Ewran Selection offers 10 different Hot tea to choose from! However my husband and I ordered our favourite ice milk tea! 🙂

The afternoon tea set offers 3 layers which are the same as English one. Start from the bottom to the top layer. The bottom layer – savoury which includes lovely lotus flower with roasted coconut and cashew nut inside! Also the wing bean salad and pawn were served with a petal which is eatable!! LOL Also!!! There was a steamed flower shaped dumpling filed with crab meat! OMG every single savoury looks so decent and lovely! There were two scones served on a lovely little leave shape plate.

In the middle and the top layer – dessert which I definitely love the most. What I found the most spectacular one was the durian mousse and jasmine – passion fruit jelly tart. I don’t eat durian but till I finished it, I don’t even know that’s durian! It’s so yummy!  Also the mini mango with sticky rice of course was my favourite too! This mini one won’t let you too full! All the desserts looks so lovely with floral theme.

If you would like to experience something special unlike the others? I would highly recommend you go try this ‘THAI’ Luxurious Afternoon Tea in Bangkok (Grand Hyatt Erawan)  at Erawan Tea Room. It is something hat you cannot miss  out!!
